Here Come the Witches

I'll get you my pretty and your little dog too!

I was do excited to join this Ozfest. I have always gone above and beyond when it comes to Halloween, but nothing beats what I have done to recreate the witches of Oz.

It started when Baubi was in second grade. She wanted to be a spooky witch, and who is more spooky then The Wicked Witch of the West.

She cried when I painted her face green, we were even 30 min. late for school, trying to wash it off. In the end she loved it, and got use to being the stand out.

I think that Lala here enjoyed it more. She is definitely to cute to be spooky though.
I mean look at that face, she could never get you and your little dog.

In the spirit of my first blog party I will be giving away this little number.
You will receive one size six witch costume, complete with dress, corset, hat and one fabulous cape.

All I ask is that you be my friend I only have 14 and I love them all, and I want some more. I'm not that pushy and every once in awhile I may give you a good idea or two.

So leave me a comment saying that you will be my friend, and if you are lucky some one you know, and love could be this spooky next Halloween.

Good luck I hope you win, I have my fingers and toes crossed for you. I will let you know who wins next week.

I will be back tomorrow to show you some more Ozness.

  2. Hi, nice to meet you and your lovely little witches. I will be your friend, no problem as one can never have too many friends. Please stop by and have a poppy seed muffin and sit a spell.
(ps, I would love to win but have no one that small in my life anymore, all too big - so if by chance my number is drawn please pass it on to the next person)

  4. Oh my gods! My Piano Man's wicked little Princess would go insane if I win this. How wonderful!

Your model looks adorable and magical; it must be all the love.

I am very happy to befriend you. One can never have too many bloggy friends. Please stop by Pagan Culture, I'm sure my Wicked Darlings will receive you with opened arms. And do Participate in my upcoming Witches in Fiction blog party. You'll probably make tons of friends there.

  5. Okay, so I'll stop blog-stalking after this comment (maybe), but I just browsed through your blog and wanted to let you know that'll be bothering you a lot. I want to learn how to sew. So I'll probably read everything you share on the topic and ask some very I-don't-know-a-thing-about-the-craft questions. But don't worry next time my Piano Man and I go to Utah to visit his family, I'll buy a cup of tea. And if you come to New York City I'll make you one!

    Hugs!

    And now I'm leaving ;-)

    Love you!

  10. Well of course I follow you! You are the most talented woman I know!! And you are right....Lillian Kathleen makes the cutest witch and I don't think she would take the dog!! But then, I could be just a tiny bit biased!! If you pick me, I will take the costume for Dakota!!!! Love you lots, Grandma Kath

  13. I'd love to be your friend! I certainly know that family and friends are everything! Wow, you are a great seamstress (I adore sewing, too)... love the witchy costumes (and your children are charming)! I used to sew Halloween costumes for my children when they were small. They have been Bugs Bunny, Tweetie Pie, Sylvester the cat, and others and each time I took them to a photographer for a great photo. Loved it! Thanks for the memories ... maybe I'll blog about that later.
